Texas Ren Faire Auditions May 12th

    Tuesday, May 8, 2007, 1:24 AM [General]

Would anyone have some inside information on the audition process itself and the pay rates? Also the camping situation for cast and crew? This news is hard to come by. Just tell me how much I'll get paid and if I can camp out on weekends!

Should we prepare an audition piece from the period? How long? Comedic? Dramatic? (can you tell I'm in theatre?)

Hope you don't mind the request :) I don't visit the site as often as I'd like, but thought I'd try and make a few new friends here. I love your pic!

Ahhh, you art a woman of a thousand faces. If thou beith a thespian in the TRF, it twill be but another of many reasons I must embark on a campaign toward thy region. I extend my guantlet to you in kinship.

t.o.t.d.t.y. i worked for M.I.L in Dragonslayer the money sucked bigtyme but i would not trade the adventure for anything the work was hard and long but the people i worked with were the salt of the earth and cream of the crop. i am sorry to say i do not know anything about the actors or cast but i think they have a camping area for them. from where i worked i saw them rehearsing for all the different themed weekends. they worked very hard in all kinds of weather. it looks like you will have to be dedicated anything less than a full commitment will not do you or them justice, but if you make it you will never have more fun at anything else you do in your life. not to scare you but once it gets dark there be aware of where you are at and who you are with. your friend and hopefully fellow renie gnome (break a leg)
